Ana is a psychologist at OpenUp. When a client starts a psychotherapeutic process with her, the first emotion she feels is gratitude for being able to help them. She feels privileged that clients trust her enough to share their emotions and personal stories, and that she has the opportunity to help them feel better with empathy and compassion.

She values activities such as walking, running, a genuine conversation, contact with nature, and travelling. These activities allow her to find freedom and express herself.

Ana has more than 8 years of experience as a psychologist working in mental health care, emotion management, relationships and couple issues, communication problems and social skills, personal effectiveness, self-esteem, and more.

She obtained her Masters degree in Emotional Intelligence and Health from Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. Her therapeutic approach is based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and positive psychology.

She speaks Spanish and English, and has a multicultural perspective and ability to communicate interculturally.
