Lili is a psychologist at OpenUp. In consultation, she is empathetic and open-minded. This allows her to adapt and accommodate her treatment style according to your needs and cultural background as well as strengthen your therapeutic alliance. Her bond with her clients is of top priority, which is why she puts great emphasis on honest and open communication. That way, you can both effectively attain the goals you have defined and set at the start of treatment.

To take care of her own mental health, Lili plays and listens to music. This allows her to explore her thoughts and get in touch with her emotions. It helps her to express herself and check-in with herself.

In the past, Lili has worked as a psychologist at a psychiatric hospital/ crisis centre and is currently also working in a specialised treatment centre (SGGZ). These past and current experiences have given her the opportunity to continuously develop and expand her therapeutic skills across various types of psychotherapy. Some examples of these are the following: cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy (MBCT), schema therapy (ST), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Lili has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, along with a second specialisation in Legal & Forensic Psychology from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Lili speaks French and English.
